Self-Exclusion
Last updated: 2026-06-19
1. What is self-exclusion
Self-exclusion is a voluntary decision to stop yourself from gambling on espacejuex for a fixed period of time. It is a stronger step than a short break and is intended for when you want a longer, firm separation from play. During self-exclusion your account is closed for gambling and cannot be reopened before the period ends.
2. How to self-exclude
You can request self-exclusion from the responsible-gambling section of your account, or by contacting our support team, who can guide you through it confidentially. You choose the length of the exclusion from the available options. Once confirmed, it takes effect immediately and cannot be cancelled early.
3. Duration and scope
Self-exclusion periods are offered for set durations, such as six months, one year or longer. While excluded, you will not be able to log in to play, deposit or place wagers, and we will exclude you from marketing communications. We may also take reasonable steps to prevent the opening of new accounts during this time.
4. During self-exclusion
Any remaining balance can be withdrawn in accordance with our usual verification and withdrawal procedures. We encourage you to use the exclusion period to seek support if gambling has become a problem, and to consider whether additional help, such as a provincial self-exclusion program, would be valuable to you.
5. Reinstatement
Your account is not reopened automatically. When the period ends, you must contact us to ask for reinstatement, and a further cooling-off delay applies before play can resume. This deliberate process gives you time to reflect before returning, and you may extend your exclusion at any point if you are not ready.
6. Support resources
Help is free, confidential and available 24/7. In Quebec, you can reach Jeu : aide et référence at 1-800-461-0140 to speak with someone about gambling, for yourself or for a loved one. You will also find tools and information in our responsible-gambling section.
